The Certificate that is needed by the Exempt Entity [your customer] needs to be served for them to fill out. Once it is filled out the information is sent to us. We store it. You don't need to see it unless you get audited. During the process of first establishing the certificate you need to assign a customer number. With future visits by your customer, you need to send that number with the Lookup request. We recognize it and know not to tax your customer.
